What Article 12 actually requires.
Article 12 of the EU AI Act requires operators of high-risk AI systems to maintain automatic logging of events throughout the system lifecycle. For supply chain operations, this means every AI-generated recommendation that influences an operational decision must be logged with the input data used, the model version, the recommendation generated, the human approval, and the action taken. The log must be tamper-proof and available for export on regulator request.

THE PROBLEM
Why most supply chain operators cannot produce this today.
